A Giclee is a high-quality reproduction of a painting, using organic, water-based archival inks. The name is from the French word meaning “to spray,” indicating how the print is created. The inks are rapidly “sprayed” through the micro-jets of a printer onto a surface thus creating a piece of artwork amazingly similar to the original. A final coating is then applied to protect it from moisture and UV rays.

The maximum size image on canvas that we can print is 56" wide x 116" long.

1 week for scanning/capture, file setup, and preparation of test print. After test prints are approved, we generally require 2 weeks for prints on stretched canvas.

While we always try to accommodate your specific project requirements, turnaround may vary due to workload in house.

Our Liability Insurance covers artwork up to $20000 in value while it is in our Studio against any accidents or damages that could potentially occur. For artwork that exceeds $5000, we ask that you also have your own liability insurance covering the work. We handle all artwork with the utmost care - this is simply for "worst case scenario" protection

Submission of any materials such as original artwork, transparencies, or digital images to Phoenix Art Care constitutes an agreement by the client that they are either the creator or owner of all reproduction rights.
In the event of copyright dispute or litigation, Phoenix Art Care is held harmless and client accepts all responsibility for damages, legal costs and any restitution. Phoenix Art Care certifies that no additional copies other than those requested by client will be created, sold or distributed in any way without the clients permission pursuant to copyright laws. Phoenix Art Care will take all precautions to archive

Storage fees will apply to originals left over 5 business days after completion. Once the scanning process is completed, the artist is contacted for pick up. After 5 business days have passed $10 will be added to the invoice, with an additional $1.50 for every day after.
